We're All Constantly Figuring It Out

We’re all just figuring it out. Life is constantly just figuring things out. And it becomes complicated. Why? Well, because figuring it out is different for all of us. For some of us, we look for structure when figuring it out; we might build a hard schedule and discipline. Some may seek out guidance from a counselor or priest. Some may sit in silence and spend some time away. Some may go to a coffee shop to read and journal. Some go to church to pray and refocus. But whatever it is, we tend to try to do something when we feel like we are striving to get somewhere we’ve never been. An unbeaten path where we don’t know the map.
So be gentle with yourself, and especially others. Start with the end in mind… that this “figuring it out” stuff is all going to come to a close at some point, and we’ll all face God, our creator. And when we reach Him, it won’t be about the accomplishments, but about the “figuring it out”. How did you treat yourself while figuring it out? How did you treat others (God’s children)? How did you trust in Him? Were you able to surrender, trust, and give it to Him as you figured it out? Oof. So yeah, maybe the figuring it out has already been figured out…
